“The day I arrived here, the company that I had a job with filed for bankruptcy,” Gushman recalled. With no immediate job prospects and a growing family to support, he turned to what he knew best—real estate. Growing up in Ohio with a father who was a developer and contractor, Gushman had been exposed to construction and property development from a young age. Despite the sudden career change, he embraced the opportunity and never looked back.

The First Steps into Real Estate

“You just have to keep going,” he said. “Keeping relationships together, inspiring teams, and rebuilding—again and again.”
